- In interventional cardiology he has performed around 6,000 diagnostic coronary angiographies, about 5,000 of them through the radial (wrist) route, and around 1,500 PCIs as primary operator, including rotablation, complex bifurcation stenting and left main interventions. He has also performed about 40 percutaneous transvenous mitral commissurotomies (PTMC), around 200 diagnostic cardiac catheterisations, and paediatric interventions such as balloon dilatation and device closure of ASD, VSD and PDA.
- Dr. Patodia has interpreted more than 2,000 echocardiograms, including pre- and post-operative paediatric studies, and is experienced in managing critically ill patients in the cardiac ICU and emergency, particularly those with life-threatening arrhythmias.
