He was a co-investigator in the RE-LY study comparing dabigatran with warfarin and in a multicentric study of the oral drug GW677954, was nominated course co-director and faculty for a trans-radial course in Ahmedabad, and was invited to chair a scientific session at the 56th Annual Conference of the Cardiological Society of India. He is a life member of the Cardiological Society of India, the Indian Medical Association and the Indian Society of Anesthetists, and a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India.
