He completed his MBBS from L.L.R.M. Medical College, Meerut in 1994, followed by MD in Medicine from S.N. Medical College, Agra in 1998, and DM in Cardiology from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur in 2005. Early in his career, he served as a Senior Registrar at G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi, one of India's premier cardiac care institutes.
Prior to joining Sarvodaya Hospital, Dr. Aggarwal held senior positions including Senior Consultant and Head of Department at Metro Hospital and Heart Institute, Palam Vihar, Gurugram; Senior Consultant at Metro Hospital, Noida; Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi; and Consultant at Delhi Heart and Lung Institute.
He is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and holds a Certificate in Research Fellowship in Cardiology (CRFC). His research has been published in respected journals including the Indian Heart Journal and Postgraduate Medicine, and he has presented papers at international cardiology conferences such as TCTMD. He was honored with the Best Case Presentation Award at the 3rd Indo-European Course on Revascularization (IECR), 2009.
