His work extends to peripheral, renal and carotid artery stenting, stenting of failed dialysis fistulas, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation, CRT-P, CRT-D and ICD implantation, ASD, PDA and VSD device closures, PTMC/balloon valvotomy and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He also provides specialised medical care for heart failure, resistant hypertension and heart disease in patients with kidney failure.
Dr. Vinoth Kumar has presented challenging cases at the National Intervention Council midterm meet in Kolkata (2013), INDIA LIVE in Delhi (2014) and EuroPCR in Paris (2014), including coil embolisation of a RIMA perforation after CPR. His publications appear in BMJ Case Reports, the Indian Heart Journal, the International Journal of Clinical Medicine and other journals, covering OCT-guided left main stenting, bioresorbable scaffolds and management of guidewire-induced perforations.
He is a member of the Cardiological Society of India and an Associate Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (AFESC). He consults in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and English.
