His areas of expertise include scoliosis, kyphosis and spinal deformity correction, cervical, dorsal and lumbar spine disorders, slip disc, spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis, minimally invasive and robotic spine surgery, endoscopic spine surgery and spinal fusion, TB spine and osteoporosis-related spinal disorders, shoulder, elbow and hand surgery, trauma care and complex fracture management, and limb reconstruction and deformity correction.
He is a recipient of the Sitaram Jaipuria Award (SJF Foundation, 2022), the NASI-Reliance Platinum Jubilee Award (National Academy of Sciences, India, 2022) and the IOA Silver Jubilee Oration Award (Indian Orthopaedic Association, 2021), and holds a patent for FlexiOH, a DBT-recognised innovation. He is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS), Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), American College of Surgeons (ACS), The Spine Society of Europe (EUROSPINE) and Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS), and is the author of 3 international textbooks and more than 40 book chapters.
