He is a recipient of the Sitaram Jaipuria Award (SJF Foundation, 2022), the NASI-Reliance Platinum Jubilee Award (National Academy of Sciences, India, 2022) and the IOA Silver Jubilee Oration Award (Indian Orthopaedic Association, 2021), and holds a patent for FlexiOH, a DBT-recognised innovation. He is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS), Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), American College of Surgeons (ACS), The Spine Society of Europe (EUROSPINE) and Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS), and is the author of 3 international textbooks and more than 40 book chapters.
