- Dr. Prabhakar was awarded the Dr. Balu Sankaran Gold Medal in Orthopaedics in 2002. He has presented and published on topics such as posterior instability after cruciate-retaining TKA (AAOS 2019 scientific exhibit), total hip arthroplasty in ochronotic arthropathy, tibial baseplate loosening and hand surgery case reports in the Journal of Hand & Microsurgery.
