Dr. Sachin Tapasvi is a highly regarded orthopaedic surgeon with over 26 years of clinical experience, known for his expertise in joint replacement, sports injury management and complex alignment surgeries.
His practice covers both primary and revision joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder, developed through extensive international exposure.
He graduated MBBS as a gold medalist from BJ Medical College, Pune (1991) and completed his MS in Orthopaedics, also as a gold medalist (1996), followed by FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow (2016).
He served as President of the Indian Arthroscopy Society (2022-2024) and holds numerous leadership roles including Associate Editor of the Journal of ISAKOS and Executive Member of the Asia Pacific Knee Society.
He has trained more than 60 fellows through his ISAKOS-approved fellowship programme since 2000, conducted over 90 cadaveric workshops, and been invited to more than 700 national and international conferences as faculty or speaker.
He has authored approximately 92 original indexed publications and founded the Tapasvi Charitable and Medical Center to support orthopaedic education, including the popular Pune Knee Course.
