Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep B. Bhosale is a Joint Replacement Surgeon and currently working as Chairman - Robotic Joint Replacement, Hip and Knee Surgery at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
He has over 43 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery and has performed more than 20,000 joint replacement surgeries, making him one of the most experienced joint replacement surgeons in India.
He was associated with Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai for 37 years, serving as Head of the Orthopaedic Department and as Professor of Orthopaedics for 30 years under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
He started the Joint Replacement Speciality Operation Theatre at KEM Hospital in June 2009, inaugurated by his teacher Dr. Chitranjan Ranawat of New York, USA, and has developed Bhosale's Dual Hip Surgical Approach for complex hip cases.
He completed his MS (Orthopaedics), D.Orth and DNB (Orthopaedics) from the University of Mumbai, and is a Ranawat Fellow in Total Joint Replacement (New York, USA) with further international fellowships in Switzerland, Germany, the UK and Australia.
He has been an invited guest speaker at joint replacement conferences in the USA, UK, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, China and Dubai, and is the recipient of the Golden Aim Health Award, the Sushruta Award (2022) and was named "Man of the Year 2022" by Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital.
