She then completed a fellowship in GI and HPB Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (2024-2025), India's leading cancer centre, before joining Gleneagles Hospital.
- Her practice focuses on minimally invasive surgery of the oesophagus, stomach, intestine, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts and pancreas, including cancer surgery for these organs. Keyhole and robotic approaches to complex liver and pancreatic operations can reduce pain, blood loss and hospital stay compared with open surgery.
- Dr. Dsilva has authored over 50 papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and is a contributing author to the Atlas of Laparoscopic Liver Resection (2021). She received the Young Investigator Award at the EASL Liver Cancer Summit, Prague (2020) and the Best Oral Paper Presentation (Liver) award at IHPBA India (2025), and serves on the Research Committee of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (2024-2026).
