He subsequently worked as Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Century Super Specialty Hospital, Consultant Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon at American Oncology Institute (2019-2023) and Sr. Consultant at Medicover Oncology Institute before joining Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City.
His practice is built on precision robotic and minimally invasive techniques that aim for oncological accuracy, organ preservation and faster recovery. He operates on breast, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, colorectal, gynaecological, thoracic, head and neck, adrenal, prostate, kidney and bladder cancers, performing procedures such as robotic radical hysterectomy, robotic pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissection, robotic prostatectomy, robotic radical cystectomy, robotic anterior resection for rectal cancer, robotic adrenalectomy and robotic radical and partial nephrectomy.
He has a special interest in cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) for cancers that have spread within the abdomen, as well as breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy and oncoplastic breast surgery, which combine complete cancer removal with good cosmetic results. He also handles complex colorectal resections and supports preventive cancer screening.
Dr. Rajesh Goud has received the APJ Abdul Kalam Excellence Award in Oncology and the Top Oncologist Award 2023 at the HMTV Medical Professionals Awards. He is a member of the Association of Surgeons of India and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, and has published case reports on primary Ewing's sarcoma of the kidney, liposarcoma of the mesorectum and pilomatricoma of the sternum.
