He also attended the Advanced Endonasal Endoscopic Skull Base Workshop at Stanford University, USA, in August 2023, before joining Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad.
His expertise lies in neuro-endoscopy, including endoscopic transnasal skull base surgery, transventricular and pineal region surgery, endoscopic microvascular decompression and endoscope-assisted haematoma evacuation. He performs microscopic and endoscopic complex skull base surgery, pituitary and sellar lesion surgery and extended endoscopic approaches for cavernous sinus lesions and skull base meningiomas, which allow deep-seated tumours to be reached through the nose without external scars.
He also manages brain and spinal tumours, awake brain surgery and supraorbital keyhole approaches, robotic and navigation-guided stereotactic biopsies, neurotrauma and intracranial bleeds, and programmable VP shunting for hydrocephalus. His spine practice includes laminectomy, microdiscectomy, spinal fusion, spinal tumour surgery and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF).
Dr. Krishna Tej Reddy has presented papers on endoscopic excision of the cavernous sinus medial wall, a four-handed endoscopic endonasal-to-pineal technique and cavernous sinus haemangiopericytoma at NESICON, the International Skull Base Conference, IFNE Singapore and NEUROENDOCON. He is a member of the Skull Base Surgery Society of India, the Neuro-Endoscopy Society of India and the Kairaly Neurological Society, and consults in English, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
