KIMSHEALTH (Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences) at Anayara, Thiruvananthapuram, is the flagship quaternary-care hospital of KIMS Health Care Management Limited. Established in 2002, it has grown into one of the largest private multi-speciality hospitals in Kerala, with around 650 beds and about 60 medical disciplines.
The hospital was the first in India to be accredited by both NABH and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI); its laboratory is NABL accredited and its blood centre is NABH accredited.
Key specialities include cardiology and cardiac surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, oncology through the KIMS Cancer Centre, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, nephrology, vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, paediatrics and fertility treatment.
KIMSHEALTH runs a multi-organ transplant programme covering liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, supported by a large critical care set-up and modern operating theatres. The hospital offers minimally invasive surgery and advanced diagnostics.
