No. Once your Allianz Care pre-authorization is approved, your hospital bills for covered treatment are settled directly between the hospital and Allianz. Non-covered expenses (such as accommodation outside the hospital, food for attendants, or items beyond your policy benefits) may be paid by you separately.

Typically 3–7 working days from the time we submit the complete estimate and medical case to Allianz Care. Urgent cases (oncology, cardiac, transplant) can often be expedited. We follow up daily to keep the process moving and update you in real time.

Q4. What if my treatment estimate exceeds my policy limit

We share the full estimate transparently with you. If the cost exceeds your Allianz policy limit (annual cap or per-procedure cap), the balance can be paid by you directly to the hospital. Q5. Can I bring family members with me

Yes. We arrange the medical visa invitation letter for the patient and up to two accompanying attendants (typically a spouse, parent or adult child). Additional family members can also be accommodated on request.
