Aster PMF is a multi-speciality hospital at Sasthamkotta in Kollam district, Kerala, operated by Aster DM Healthcare. The hospital was formerly the Padmavathy Medical Foundation (PMF); Aster DM Healthcare signed an agreement with PMF in May 2023 and the facility was relaunched as Aster PMF, becoming the seventh Aster hospital in Kerala.
The hospital started under the Aster brand with around 100 beds, with plans announced to expand capacity by a further 50 percent. It brings the clinical protocols and quality systems of the Aster network to the people of Kollam and the surrounding areas of central Travancore.
Centres of excellence at Aster PMF include Cardiac Sciences, Neurosciences, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Neonatology, Urology and Nephrology, Gastro Sciences, and Orthopaedics and Rheumatology. Departments also cover internal medicine, general surgery, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery, ENT, dermatology, neurology, psychiatry, dentistry, anaesthesiology and emergency medicine.
Specialists from Aster MedCity, Kochi, provide visiting neurosurgery and hepatology (liver disease) services, giving local patients access to tertiary-level expertise without travelling to Kochi.
The hospital is NABH accredited and offers 24-hour emergency care, ambulance service, a 24x7 pharmacy, health check packages and cashless treatment through empanelled insurers and TPAs. International patients can be assisted through the Aster international patient services and medical value travel desk.

ABOUT INFRASTRUCTURE
Aster PMF has around 100 inpatient beds, including 35 ICU beds spread across a medical ICU, critical care unit, neonatal ICU, surgical ICU and a CTVS ICU for cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery patients.
The hospital has four modern operation theatres, CT scan facilities and a fully equipped laboratory, supported by a 24-hour emergency department and ambulance service.
