His minimally invasive work includes MICS CABG, MICS valve repair, MICS Bentall procedures and endoscopic cardiac surgeries, which use smaller incisions and allow quicker recovery.
- Dr. Ramakrishnan has been actively involved in heart and lung transplantation and was part of the team that performed the first successful lung transplant at AIIMS, New Delhi. He also served as core faculty for the Aortic Surgery Training Fellowship Programme at AIIMS for several years.
