- Dr. Limaye treats a broad spectrum of solid tumours, including head and neck, breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and gynaecological cancers. Her master's training focused on cancer genomics and biostatistics, which underpins her use of tumour genetic profiling to select targeted treatments.
- Her research collaborations include Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Columbia University Medical Center and the US National Cancer Institute. She co-founded Iylon Precision Oncology with Dr. Sendurai Mani of MD Anderson Cancer Center, spearheaded the IMPACT India International Initiative, and was nominated National Chair for Sub-protocol Arm B of the NCI-MATCH Trial.
- She has led numerous national and international clinical trials, served on Data Safety Monitoring Boards and is a member of the Ethics Board of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Her honours include the John Flynn Young Investigator Award, the Rose and Jack Horowitz Award for excellence in patient care and the ASCO Medical Oncology Research Excellence Award (2008).
