He is also a member of the multidisciplinary board for HIPEC and PIPAC procedures.
- His achievements include the Vaidya Ratna Award in Oncology (2017), the Late Dr Indumati Tapnikar Oration Award (2017) and second rank in the National Lung Cancer Quiz in Mumbai (2019), along with the Dhirubhai Ambani and Hinduja scholarships earlier in his academic career.
