- Dr. Prakash has published widely on free and local flap reconstruction, including studies on peroneal vessels as recipients for free flaps near the ankle, sural artery pedicle free flaps for leg defects, anterolateral thigh flaps for facial, elbow and abdominal wall defects, and propeller flaps for exposed Achilles tendon. He is a Life Member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India and the Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, a member of APRAS, the Association of Surgeons of India and AOCMF, and consults in Telugu, Hindi and English.
