He is having more than 32 years of experience in the field.
He trained in General Surgery at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and completed a 4-year specialist Fellowship in Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, Colorectal Surgery and Liver Transplantation at the Royal Free Hospital, London.
He was part of the team that performed the first successful Living Donor Liver Transplant in India.
