- Dr. Adlakha also carries out carotid and peripheral Doppler studies and carotid intima-media thickness assessment, which are valuable tools for identifying early atherosclerosis and assessing cardiovascular risk. Her training in diabetes management supports a preventive approach for patients with diabetes, who are at higher risk of heart disease.
