- His current practice covers the diagnosis and management of heart disease, including rheumatic heart disease, pre-operative cardiac evaluation, and preventive care for heart and lung disease. Preventive cardiology focuses on controlling risk factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and smoking to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.
