- Her research has earned the ARVO Foundation Developing Country Eye Researcher Travel Fellowship (2013), Asia ARVO international (2015) and national (2013) travel grants, runner-up in the ARVO 2013 video contest in Seattle, the All India Ophthalmological Society travel fellowship (2011), and the Toshbro/Oertli scholarship for her work on paediatric visual impairment in rural northern India. She has completed courses in research methodology and Good Clinical Practice.
