He also works in onco-nephrology, managing kidney problems that arise in patients with cancer or from cancer treatment.
As a transplant physician he is involved in kidney transplantation and simultaneous kidney-pancreas transplantation, from pre-transplant evaluation to long-term follow-up and immunosuppression. He offers a wide range of dialysis and extracorporeal therapies, including peritoneal dialysis, plasmapheresis, SLED and CRRT, and provides critical care nephrology for patients who need dialysis in the ICU.
