CKD often develops silently due to diabetes and high blood pressure, and early detection and control of these conditions can slow its progression.
He has authored 11 papers in national and international journals and made 2 presentations at international nephrology conferences. His academic recognitions include first prize in quizzes at ISOT, Hyderabad and PDSICON, Bangalore, and second prize for a poster at IANCON, Hyderabad, all in 2011.
He is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the Indian Academy of Nephrology, and he consults in English, Hindi and Telugu.
