Dr. Rayaz Ahmed is Senior Director, Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, with more than 17 years of experience in blood disorders and transplant medicine.
He has performed over 1,000 bone marrow transplants, spanning autologous, allogeneic (matched-sibling and matched-unrelated-donor) and haploidentical stem-cell transplants.
His practice covers the full range of benign and malignant blood disorders including aplastic anaemia, thalassemia, sickle-cell disease, acute and chronic leukaemias, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and multiple myeloma.
Before joining Max Healthcare, he was Senior Consultant in Haematology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre and Associate Professor of Haematology at CMC Vellore.
