- He has published widely, with papers on air embolism during endoscopy, Kayser-Fleischer rings, pyoderma gangrenosum in Wilson disease, DAA treatment of hepatitis C in adolescents with thalassaemia, the Indian Network of Drug-Induced Liver Injury study and TIPS in infants with Budd-Chiari syndrome. He has also co-authored the book MCQs in Infectious Diseases for DM Students (2021).
- His honours include the Best Resident Award at Jaslok Hospital (2011), the Sir Ratan Tata Scholarship (2003) and a gold medal in Microbiology from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (2000). He is a member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, INASL, SGEI, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the National Academy of Medical Sciences and several other professional bodies.
