His passion for teaching led him to write a book for ENT surgeons, the Manual of Temporal Bone Dissection, and he has numerous national and international publications on otology, neurotology and lateral skull base surgery.
- He received the Best Resident Award at Dr. B. Nanavati Hospital in 1992 and an Appreciation Award from the Association of Otolaryngologists of India for conducting temporal bone dissection workshops in Cochin in 2000. He is a regular guest speaker at national and state-level conferences in ENT, skull base surgery and paediatrics.
