He also treats piles, fistula, fissure and pilonidal sinus.

He is President of the Obesity Surgery Society of India and of the International MGB OAGB Club, a former Vice President of IAGES, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (2019), FMBS and FALS. His honours include awards from the Delhi Health Minister for thoracoscopy and from the Union Health Minister for bariatric work, orations for ASI Delhi and Andhra Pradesh, and an award for robotic bariatric surgery in Valladolid, Spain.
