Circumcision Surgery in India
Removal of the foreskin for phimosis, repeated infection, religious or personal reasons in boys and men, done by experienced urologists and paediatric surgeons at accredited Indian hospitals with a 1-day stay.
📖 What is Circumcision?
The foreskin (prepuce) is the fold of skin that covers the head of the penis (glans). In most boys it slowly becomes loose and can be pulled back by the teenage years. In some boys and men, the foreskin stays tight (phimosis), gets stuck behind the head (paraphimosis), becomes scarred, or causes repeated infection and pain.
Circumcision is surgery to remove the foreskin, leaving the head of the penis uncovered. It is one of the oldest and most common operations in the world. It is done for medical reasons, and also for religious and cultural reasons in Muslim and Jewish communities and many African societies. Modern methods include conventional (scalpel) surgery, stapler circumcision and laser circumcision, all with fine dissolvable stitches or sealing for a neat result.
