- She is the only Indian to have served as President of all three leading gynaecological, infertility and endoscopy organisations: FOGSI, ISAR and IAGE. She was the only Indian on the board of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) as Assistant Treasurer, the first Indian Board Member of the World Endometriosis Society, and was the first Indian invited as chairperson and speaker at ESHRE in 2018 and 2019.
- She has organised 41 conferences, delivered 66 orations and been an invited speaker at 400 national and international conferences. She has been a DNB teacher for many years and an adjunct visiting professor at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
- Her public health work includes the YES (Youth Education and Service) programme reaching over 25000 school children, the NARI Swasthya camps for more than 25000 women in over 100 cities, mobilising 1500 gynaecologists for the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, and a Limca Book of Records entry for the maximum number of anaemia tests in a day.
- Her honours include the Inspiring Gynaecologist of Western India award by the Times of India Group (2019), the Midday Health Wellness Award (2018), the IMA Women Empowerment Award (2017) and the Middle East Leadership Award (2016). She has written chapters in 65 books, published 40 articles and authored books on IUI, hysteroscopy and infertility.
