- She is an established infertility specialist in Mumbai with special focus on fertility ultrasound, reproductive medicine and genetic studies in infertile couples, and she is regarded as a front runner in fertility preservation counselling. Her clinical services include IVF, ICSI, IUI, frozen embryo transfer, endometriosis care and surgical sperm retrieval procedures such as FNA, TESA and micro-TESE.
- Beyond patient care, Dr. Richa has worked to bring international standards, transparency and holistic management to reproductive medicine in India through SOP development, fertility software, staff training, patient counselling and setting up IVF centres. She has authored book chapters, edited books and presented at national and international conferences; her recent work includes a 2025 cohort study comparing GnRH antagonist and progestin-primed ovarian stimulation in IVF.
- She is a lifetime member of FOGSI and ISAR and a founder executive member of the Fertility Preservation Society of India. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame (IVF Specialist, West Zone) at the ET Health World National Fertility Awards 2022 and featured in the coffee table book Innovatory Gynecologist of India.
