- His areas of interest include peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot, varicose veins, dialysis access, carotid artery revascularisation, deep vein thrombosis, vascular trauma and thoracic outlet syndrome. He performs peripheral revascularisation through angioplasty, bypass and hybrid procedures to restore blood flow to the legs, along with diabetic foot debridement and amputation when needed, and aortic aneurysm care.
- For venous disease he offers open surgery, laser ablation, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy for varicose veins, as well as thrombolysis for deep vein thrombosis. He creates and salvages arteriovenous fistulas for dialysis patients, performs carotid endarterectomy and stenting to prevent stroke, and undertakes trauma bypass and cervical rib resection for thoracic outlet syndrome.
- Dr. Jain received the President's Gold Medal in Vascular Surgery in 2018 and a Doctor of the Year award in the UK in 2021. He is a member of the Vascular Society of India and the Association of Medical Consultants. His motto is that ethical, evidence-based practice is the key to saving limbs and saving lives, and he consults in English, Hindi and Marathi.
