- His laparoscopic and open kidney work includes nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, Boari flap repair and adrenalectomy, and he has been part of renal transplantation teams for both cadaveric and live related donors. In reconstructive urology he has experience with radical cystectomy with ileal conduit, neobladder reconstruction, ureteric reimplantation, VVF repair and buccal mucosal graft urethroplasty, as well as microsurgical varicocelectomy, hydrocele surgery, orchidopexy and circumcision.
- He is experienced in managing urological emergencies such as emphysematous pyelonephritis, renal and ureteric colic, priapism, testicular torsion, haematuria and abdominal trauma. Dr. Ali consults in English, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil and also offers evening appointments from Monday to Saturday.
