He then worked as Consultant Radiologist at Lincoln County Hospitals, UK, from 2007 to 2014, where he was also clinical audit lead for more than five years.
He returned to India in 2014 and has since worked in the Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology at CARE Hospitals, Hyderabad, where he now leads interventional radiology as Director. His aortic work includes EVAR and TEVAR, minimally invasive stent-graft repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms through small groin punctures.
He performs peripheral angioplasty and stenting for lower limb ischaemia and diabetic foot, which can restore blood flow and help avoid amputation. In interventional oncology he offers TACE, TARE, radiofrequency ablation and microwave ablation for liver and other tumours. He also performs embolisation procedures for uterine fibroids, varicocele, trauma, prostate enlargement and emergency gastrointestinal bleeding, along with dialysis access-related interventions.
Dr. B. Pradeep has published on the imaging appearances and endovascular management of uncommon pseudoaneurysms in Clinical Radiology (UK, 2008). He is regular faculty at national and international conferences, teaches DNB trainees and has a special interest in clinical governance. He consults in English, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills and the CARE Hospitals Outpatient Centre, Banjara Hills.
