He presented his work on restlessness in parkinsonism at the American Academy of Neurology.
- He has served at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre since October 2008, treating Parkinson's disease, parkinsonism, dystonia, tremors, Wilson's disease, Tourette's syndrome and other movement disorders. He gives botulinum toxin injections, with or without EMG guidance, for focal dystonias such as cervical dystonia, blepharospasm and writer's cramp, as well as for hemifacial spasm, spasticity and migraine, and selects and programmes patients for DBS.
- Dr. Wadia has 40 research papers and nine book chapters and is co-editor of the second edition of a textbook on Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. His research includes directional DBS, a genome-wide polygenic score study in young-onset Parkinson's disease, a clinical study of 668 Indian patients with early-onset Parkinson's disease and the Wilson's disease clinical practice guidelines, and he is principal investigator of a genome-wide association study and a phase II neuroprotection trial in Parkinson's disease.
- He teaches on the DNB neurology course and is programme coordinator of the Clinical Fellowship in Movement Disorders at Jaslok Hospital. He is a Founding Member of the Movement Disorder Society of India, a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and the Indian Academy of Neurology, and serves on the Governing Council of the Parkinson's Disease & Movement Disorder Society (PDMDS).
