He has worked as liver transplant physician at Apollo Hospitals and Wockhardt Hospitals, as Honorary Consultant with liver transplant programmes at Hinduja and Wockhardt Hospitals, and was part of the team that performed the first successful liver transplant at a public hospital in Mumbai.
- At Bombay Hospital he served as Gastroenterologist and was appointed Academic Head of the DNB Gastroenterology Training Programme in 2017. In 2019 he was appointed Honorary Gastroenterologist to the Governor of Maharashtra, and he is regular faculty at city, state and national gastroenterology conferences.
- Dr. Mandot has more than 20 indexed publications in journals such as Liver Transplantation, Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Indian Journal of Gastroenterology and JAPI, including work on MELD scoring in liver allocation and the metabolic profile of lean and obese NAFLD patients. He speaks Hindi, Marathi and English.
