He returned to Hyderabad as Consultant and Assistant Professor in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Kamineni Medical College and Research Centre (2013-2014), and then worked as Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Furness General Hospital, Cumbria, England (2014-2015), before joining CARE Hospitals, HITEC City.
His areas of expertise include intensive insulin management and insulin pump therapy, diabetes in pregnancy, polycystic ovarian disease, infertility and male hypogonadism, and endocrine emergencies. He works with neurosurgeons in a neuroendocrine multidisciplinary team for pituitary disorders and manages endocrine causes of hypertension such as Conn's syndrome and phaeochromocytoma. He also treats thyroid swelling, metabolic disorders and diabetic foot infection, and provides diet counselling and hormonal therapy.
He has co-authored a 2006 paper in the British Journal of Cancer on pharmacodynamic biomarkers for an antisense compound targeting XIAP. He consults in Telugu, Hindi and English.
