- His academic excellence was recognised with the University Gold Medal in MCh Paediatric Surgery in 2018. He also won the 2nd Best Paper Award at the National IAPS conference in Kolkata in 2017 and 1st Prize in the quiz at the Society of Paediatric Urology meeting in Chennai in 2017.
