She provides quaternary-level intensive care for critically ill children, including non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation, renal replacement therapy (dialysis), ECMO and post-surgical ICU care. Her areas of expertise include paediatric emergency and trauma care, paediatric neuro-critical care for conditions such as status epilepticus and brain infections, and nutritional support for sick children.
Alongside critical care, she sees newborns and children for growth and development, nutrition, infections and vaccinations for all age groups, and offers lactation advice to new mothers. She is a certified IAP Advanced Life Support trainer and has conducted Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Basic Pediatric Intensive Care Course workshops.
Dr. Sneha has served as study physician and co-investigator in several vaccine trials, including polio, rotavirus, pneumococcal, influenza and pentavalent vaccine studies, and has published on ECMO-assisted airway foreign body removal in an infant, haemolytic uraemic syndrome, chylothorax, childhood status epilepticus and paediatric dengue. She won second prize in the IAP state paediatric quiz, is a member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and its Intensive Care Chapter, and consults in six languages.
