He received the Best Poster award in 2014 for a paper on dissociative disorders.
- He served as sub-editor of the Telangana Journal of Psychiatry (2015-2017) and is now on its peer review committee, and is a member of IMA North Hyderabad, the Udupi Psychiatry Society and the Telangana Psychiatry Society. He conducts workshops on stress management, OCD, schizophrenia and substance abuse, mentors psychology interns, gives health talks on television, and consults in English, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
