- Since joining Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in July 2015 she has established a radiation-free interventional pain clinic and has performed over 15,000 ultrasound-guided spine procedures, over 10,000 ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, over 500 sympathetic blocks, over 5,000 myofascial blocks and around 3,000 PRP injections. Ultrasound guidance allows precise needle placement without exposing patients to X-ray radiation.
- Her areas of interest include spine pain, joint and muscle pain, headache, fibromyalgia, myofascial and chronic pelvic pain, regenerative treatment with platelet-rich plasma for degenerative conditions and tendon tears, neuropathic pain including nerve hydrodissection for CRPS, postherpetic neuralgia and carpal tunnel syndrome, and cancer pain management using the WHO analgesic ladder and nerve blocks. She also leads neurorehabilitation for stroke, brain and spinal cord injury using rehabilitation robotics and hyperbaric oxygen therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
