- His contributions to the profession have been recognised with the Physio Ratan Award at the International Physiotherapy Conference at AIIMS, New Delhi (2023), the Significant Contribution Award at the 53rd Annual IAP Conference, Shimla (2015), the Significant Achievement Award at the Golden Jubilee Conference, New Delhi (2012) and the Prerna-Shraddha Puraskar from THPI (2010). In 2001 he was selected by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, to inspect NGOs seeking grants, and he trained medical officers at primary health centres in disability management.
