- Dr. Grotra has a prolific research record, with publications in Hepatology International, the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hepatology, Pediatric Transplantation, the Indian Journal of Rheumatology, The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal and the World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics. His work includes the AGEX database of genetic variants in Alagille syndrome, curative stem cell transplantation for IL10RB mutation-associated very early onset IBD, and serum IgG4 levels in children with gluten enteropathy.
- He received the O.P. Ghai Award for Best Senior Resident in Paediatrics at AIIMS, New Delhi (2024), along with first and second prizes for poster presentations at the annual meetings of the Indian Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in 2022 and 2024.
